An intimate encounter with the Coromandels stunning coastline, this epic boat tour visits world famous Cathedral Cove, gets up close with the abundant marine life and ventures into a hidden underground blowhole around high tide.
The Hahei Explorer is an hour long, travels up to 14kms, and takes the visitor into coastal islands of the marine reserve, reefs, massive sea caves and bays, including the world famous Cathedral Cove offshore islands, reefs and sea caves including the Narnia film locations and the hidden underground blowhole. Our tour often encounters penguins, seals and dolphins when they take time out of their busy schedules to visit us in the bay.
The magnificence of this natural volcanic scenery is legendary and the approach by sea, combined with an insightful yet relaxed commentary further enhances the experience. Seating only ten passengers, this personalised tour caters for all age groups.
Tours depart from the South End of Hahei Beach via the beach access at the end of Wigmore Crescent.
