The Association is an incorporated society governed by an elected committee. We are an affiliated member of the Waikato Chamber of Commerce.
The Mercury Bay Business Association owns the www.whitianga.co.nz website, which promotes the region and provides info on activities and attractions in and around Whitianga, Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand. The website offers advertising options for local businesses and is a key tool in promoting our area, showcasing all we have to offer in Whitianga. It is visited by tens of thousands of people each year. However, we are more than just a website listing. We have monthly networking Business After 5's, member meetings, arrange business training seminars and send out regular communications keeping our business community connected.
As the Mercury Bay area grows, so do opportunities for commercial entities to start, develop and grow - bringing more residents, employment and visitors to our region. Mercury Bay has the opportunity to become THE PLACE to live, work and play on the Coromandel Peninsula.
Our vision is to be The Voice for Mercury Bay Businesses.
Our mission is to help existing and future members of the MBBA be the best at what they do and develop Mercury Bay as the Coromandel Peninsula location of choice for investment, businesses and visitors.
