The hills and valleys of Coroglen hide a colourful pioneering history. Today you can ride through this picturesque landscape from Rangihau Ranch following the old pack-horse tracks of the 1800's.

The guided trail rides will take you through native bush and across open pastures into the rugged Coromandel ranges to take in the stunning views out across the Peninsula.

We run a team of 30 well- conditioned trekking horses to suit all sizes and experience of riders and some very sweet ponies  for pre-schoolers who can take a 1/2 hour track on a lead-rein down to the Waiwawa river and back.

We are situated half-way between Tairua and Whitianga at Coroglen.  Treks of 1 hour, 1.5 and 2 hours can be booked in advance, school and tour groups catered for.

So saddle up and experience the 'Real New Zealand Ride'
