Mercury Bay Golf and Country Club (Whitianga)

Situated 3km south of Whitianga, this 18 hole course is set on a level contour and offers 18 holes of a fair golfing challenge. The course has a backdrop of tree covered hills, with a wide variety of of both native and exotic trees lining the fairways, which attract the tuis, bellbirds and wood pigeons.  The course is a 71 par with the men's measuring 5436 metres and ladies 4950 metres.  The Club has several popular tournaments each year and welcomes everyone to join in.  Over the Christmas period it is necessary to book tee times by ringing the office on (07) 8665479.  Regular competitions are held throughout the year and affiliated players are welcome to join our members on these occasions.  Group bookings are welcome and catering for these will be done on request.  Bar facilities, carts, hire clubs and trundlers are available.  A well stocked shop is on site for your golfing needs.  Green fees:  $30 Affiliated $40 Nonaffiliated 10 holes $25 Affiliated or Nonaffiliated Juniors: $10 for 10 or 18 holes
