We are a Mussel Processing and Export company operating on both a day and night shift.  The starting hourly rate for floor staff (i.e. packers, graders) is $10.25 with the starting hourly rate for cleaners at $11.00.  Mussel openers average hourly rates of between $10.25 and $15.00 with the faster more experienced openers earning more.  Accommodation is available in both backpackers and caravan parks.  Other Transport is available in some areas and there is a small charge for use of the bus. Applicants should be able to have an understanding of and be able to read English. You must have a work visa if you are not a New Zealand resident and an IRD number for tax purposes. All applicants are expected to work a minimum of six weeks before moving on.
